Is Gavin Delahunty the new curator at The Dallas Contemporary?

There is a rumor going around that Gavin Delahunty will be the curator-at-large for The Dallas Contemporary. I first heard of this as a possibility last June. Now multiple people tell me it is a done deal. However, since there has been no official announcement from the institution, and there is no mention of him on their website, I will treat it as a hypothetical situation rather than a factual one. 

So, if this is indeed true, what does this mean? 

First, let’s recap: Gavin Delahunty was the Hoffman Family senior curator for contemporary art at The Dallas Museum of Art who abruptly resigned from his post after allegations of “inappropriate behavior” in 2017. There was never an accounting of the inappropriate behavior, but I believe it was #metoo related.
